HS FOOTBALL: WILDWOOD LOSES ON BLOCKED FIELD GOAL

The Wildwood High School football program had a chance for a victory Friday night, but came up three points short.  Clayton blocked a field goal in the last minute of play to preserve a 14-12 win over Wildwood.  The Warriors are 0-2 on the season.  Atlantic City started out slow, but blew out Ocean City in the fourth quarter and beat the Red Raiders, 27-6 in a game broadcast live on WCZT Radio with Tom Williams and Prime Events.  Today, Lower Cape May Regional goes on the road to Delaware to take on Cape Henlopen.  Middle Township will be huge underdogs today as they travel to St. Joseph’s of Hammonton.
