HOURS BEING MOVED AROUND AT MVC, NO MORE MONDAY SERVICE

The Motor Vehicle Commission will be closing one day a week. The MVC announced that they will be closed on Monday’s and extending service on other days of the week, including Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The new changes are estimated to save the agency $4 million. The group says that the hours extension are on its more popular days. These changes will take effect on July 31. Hours will be extended to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday and till 1 p.m. on Saturday. Inspection stations will not make this change, only office service.
