If you are not a fan of hot weather, you may consider staying inside for the next few days. The National Weather Service predicts some very hot weather at the Jersey Shore, even for the beaches, through Saturday. Saturday is expected to be the hottest day of the summer with beach temperatures into the mid 90s and a heat index value of 110 degrees. The heat index will climb to around 104 on Friday before going up even higher on Saturday. There’s no rain in the forecast until a chance of showers and storms Monday night when a cold front moves through the area.
