HORSE FUNDING GOING TO MARKET ATLANTIC CITY

A pot of $30 million is going to market Atlantic City. A group called the Atlantic City Alliance, is made up the Borgata, Trump casinos, the Harrah’s group, and the Tropicana. These casinos had to help fund the horse racing industry, but the state is not requiring those payments anymore. This group is instead taking those dollars and putting it into a fund to help market Atlantic City, which will be apart of a private-public partnership.
