HONORS GIVEN TO SLAIN JERSEY CITY POLICE DETECTIVE

Various honors have been made this week in Jersey City for Police Detective Melvin Santiago who was gunned down earlier this year while responding to a robbery call at a pharmacy.  This week Jersey City decided to name its new public safety building as the “Detective Melvin Vincent Santiago Police Facility”.  Santiago was also honored during this week’s September 11th ceremony in Jersey City as well.
