A tax rebate is coming to eligible homeowners in the third quarter. Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky wants to remind residents that most eligible homeowners will receive their 2011 Homestead Benefit (Rebate) as a credit applied to the third quarter of the property tax bill in August 2013. The homeowners who either sold their home prior to filing the Homestead Benefit Application, or whose principal residents was in a co-op or continuing care retirement community will be issued a benefit in the form of a check or direct deposit in August 2013.
