An attempt to burglarize a home in Bridgeton didn’t go smoothly for one criminal. The News of Cumberland County reports that a homeowner picked up a broomstick and yelled at the home-invader. Police responded to the home on the 200 block of Bank St. Police are looking for the would be robber. The attempt took place around 3:30 a.m. on Friday.
