Bridgeton police are investigating the second apparent home invasion in four days after being called to a Wayne Rd. residence at approximately 8:30 PM Tuesday night to find that two male subjects reportedly entered a home through an unsecured door and demanded money from a 74-year-old woman, according to reports. The female victim, who police did not identify, was not injured but told responding officers and detectives that two masked subjects wearing all dark clothing ran into her bedroom and demanded money with one of the subjects covering her mouth with his hand. Police said the suspects ransacked the bedroom locating a small amount of cash and left the residence. There was no report of a weapon being used in this incident and the victim did not appear to have been physically assaulted. An investigation is on-going.
