A historic building was nearly engulfed by fire at about 5am on Monday. Wildwood firefighters C-Platoon responded to a call at the Holly Beach Park between 100 Block of East Burk & Andrews Avenue. The Wildwood historic school house received damage to the front porch as firefighters were able prevent the flames from spreading inside the structure. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
