Weather permitting, some holiday parades will take place in Middle and Lower townships this weekend. On Friday night, Middle Township will hold its annual Christmas parade at 6pm along Route 9 in Cape May Court House; right now, rain is in the forecast. On Saturday evening, the Lower Township Rotary Club will hold its annual holiday parade along Bayshore Road in North Cape May. Lower Township Police announced that various traffic detours will be in place for the parade which steps off at 7pm.
