A man was injured by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident on Route 47. Lower Township Police say Beatriz Zacualpa-Morales, 19 of West Cape May, was later brought to the Lower Township Police Department and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, being an unlicensed driver, and other related offenses. Ryan Carty, 27, of Cape May Court House, was taken to the Atlantic City Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
