HISTORIC HIGH TIDE POTENTIALLY COMING THIS MORNING

A major high tide event has been predicted for this morning. Avalon officials are saying they believe high tide will be 4.8 feet above mean low water, which essentially means most of the borough will be under water during high tide. Likely the high tide event later this evening would be similar. The full moon along with the driving rain and wind is keeping the tide up and water coming.
