HEROIN MAKES MAN UNCONSCIOUS WITH BOY INSIDE OF HOME

A 2-year-old child was taken from a home in Wildwood Crest after a man took a dose of heroin that knocked him unconscious. Wildwood Crest Rescue helped the man get to Cape Regional Hospital and he is expected to recover. The child wasn’t harmed. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency took custody of the child. Frederick O’Brien was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Bail was set at $75,000.
