HEROIN DISCOVERED IN SOMERS POINT BUST

A search warrant was executed Thursday morning in Somers Point and led to the discovery of 250 bags of heroin. Police arrested Lamar Harris, 25 years old, of Somers Point, who was found in possession of cocaine and marijuana and $2,500 in cash. Harris was charged with possession, possession with intent to distribute, and possession with intent to distribute in public housing. Harris has an extensive criminal history for weapons and drugs. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Jail on $150,000 cash bail.
