HEAT INDEX TO REACH 100 DEGREES SUNDAY

It will be a warm, sticky day at the shore on Sunday.  The National Weather Service predicts the heat index will reach 100 degrees at the beaches on Sunday.  A very warm, sticky air mass will sit over our region on Sunday, bringing party sunny skies by afternoon.  That should fuel up some showers and thunderstorms in some locations at the shore.  Showers and storms will end by midnight, and sunshine returns Monday with temperatures into the low 90s
