HEAD-ON COLLISION REPORTED ON ROUTE 47 IN DENNIS TOWNSHIP

New Jersey State Police report a head-on collision occurred Thursday morning on Route 47 in Dennis Township. The preliminary investigation indicates a box truck and pick-up truck were involved in the accident at milepost 19.5. Route 47 will be closed to traffic between Washington Avenue and Tyler Road until about noon while the accident scene is investigated. Three people were medivaced from the accident scene.
