HEAD OF STATE'S REPUBLICAN PARTY STEPS DOWN

State Republicans will have to find a new head for the party. Jay Webber has stepped down from his role as chairman. Webber said that he wanted to focus on his job on the Assembly budget committee and with being the chairman of the redistricting efforts of the GOP. Vice-chair Lynda Pagliughi will serve as the interim chair of the party until a full-time replacement has been selected.
