Hard Rock International held a public hearing on Thursday at City Hall in Atlantic City, outlining plans for their new casino hotel. Hard Rock unveiled their construction timetable for the proposed $275 million casino, scheduled to open in the spring of 2014. Work should begin late this year, as long as regulatory approvals are granted. The casino will be built at the foot of the Route 40-Albany Avenue entrance to Atlantic City, at the southern end of the boardwalk. About 70 people attended the public hearing Thursday night.
