The Hamilton Township Police Department is currently investigating a Diversion Burglary that occurred on Tuesday in the Laureldale section of the Township. The suspect lures the victim from their home or distracts them by posing as some type of utility worker. A second suspect then enters the residence and steals items while the first suspect occupies the victim. Similar incidents have been occurring in the area and residents are advised to always ask strangers for proper identification and notify police of any suspicious activities.
