HAMILTON TOWNSHIP HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE

Hamilton Township firefighters report that the top floor of a two-story home was severely damaged when a fire broke out Wednesday morning at about 10:30 a.m. The house is located on the 5900 block of Estelle Ave. in the Micah section of the township. The couple who lived in the house was not home at the time of the fire, and are now attempting to account for their seven cats. Four fire companies responded to the two-alarm blaze that took about 20 minutes to get under control.
