A school in New Jersey has cancelled its Halloween parties in school, citing the school’s diversity as the main reason why. Students at Seth Boyden Elementary School in the South Orange-Maplewood School District will not be celebrating the holiday in school and said all Halloween activities should be held outside of the school. Letters were sent home to parents ahead of time to avoid any day of issues. This policy is only being implemented at the one school and not at other schools in the district.
