The Wendy’s hamburger chain revealed that hackers stole customer’s credit and debit card information from nearly 20 percent of their national chain of restaurants, including three in South Jersey. The local stores affected are on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, the White Horse Pike in Hammonton, and on Route 72 in Manahawkin. Hackers were able to steal customer’s card numbers, names and expiration dates to make fraudulent purchases at other stores.
