GULP! $9.50 FOR A TOLL CROSSING?

Reports suggest that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will support a toll hike on the Port Authority bridges and tunnels in North Jersey that could raise a peak time crossing for vehicles to $9.50.  NorthJersey.com reports that one source says both Christie and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will approve the latest toll hike, but will also call for a sweeping audit of the agency’s finances.  No final decision has been announced.
