Two Atlantic City Police Officers pleaded guilty to official misconduct. Sergeant Richard Halvorson, 42, and Officer Troy Maven, 32, pleaded guilty to accusations of third-degree official misconduct. Halvorson pleaded guilty in connection with possessing and using a controlled dangerous substance while on duty on Feb. 28, 2013. Maven pleaded guilty in connection with offering a woman money for sexual activity while on duty on Aug. 17, 2013. The offenses stem from two unrelated incidents. Sentencing will take place on Jan. 10.
