Ocean City Councilman Scott Ping admitted that he was drunk when he was nailed for a DUI back in March. Ping was in court Friday and pleaded guilty to one count of drunk driving. Ping blew a .15 reading after he crashed his vehicle in a marsh off Ocean Drive. Ping is still in a neck brace as a result of the accident. He can’t drive for seven months and when he does drive again, he will have to use a special device for six months that shows he is not intoxicated.
