GUARDIAN: AT LEAST WE’RE NOT DETROIT

Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian made national news with comments he made during his State of the City address on Thursday. When talking about the struggles of Atlantic City, he said “At least we are not Detroit.” This has raised some anger in Detroit. Atlantic City has seen about 8,000 workers let go through four casino closings, and more closures could be on the way. Casino revenue in the resort has also dropped in nearly half over the past eight years.
