GUADAGNO HOSPITALIZED AFTER BICYCLE ACCIDENT

The acting governor was put in the hospital on Thursday because of a bicycle accident. Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno was injured and placed in the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. She suffered both a broken wrist and elbow. Gov. Chris Christie has been out of state and Guadagno was serving as the acting governor in his stead. If Guadagno couldn’t serve the role then Senate President Steve Sweeney would become acting governor. To this point Guadagno hasn’t had to give up her role.
