GROSS OPERATING PROFITS UP FOR ATLANTIC CITY’S REMAINING CASINOS

The eight casinos left in Atlantic City saw gross operating profits increase in the resort. The third quarter produced a gross operating profit of $152.3 million for the casinos, a 3.4 percent increase over the year prior. Both online gaming and the reduction of the worst performing casinos helped increase the overall bottom line. Four casinos have closed this year alone, including the Atlantic Club, Revel, Showboat, and Trump Plaza.
