A fugitive of justice was arrested in North Wildwood. Police there say they took Daniel Cheney into custody. Police say that they received the report of a person being inside of residence that wasn’t supposed to be there on Wednesday night at 8:38 pm. Cheney was found hiding in a closet of the bedroom. He was wanted for grand larceny in New York and had various other outstanding warrants. He is awaiting extradition at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
