GRAND JURY INDICTMENT HANDED DOWN IN WELFARE FRAUD

Over $60,000 was allegedly taken illegally out of the welfare system. An Atlantic County grand jury indicted three for their roles in the defrauding scheme. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced that 42 year-old Earnest Atkins, of Pleasantville, 44 year-old Jennifer Yanni, of Egg Harbor Twp. and 35 year-old Maritza Davis-Hernandez, of Mays Landing were all alleged in the incident that cost the system. The suspects would have to pay the money back and could face five years in jail in convicted.
