The latest Rutgers-Eagleton poll released on Wednesday showed a huge jump in the popularity of Governor Christie after his handling of the damage from Hurricane Sandy. The new poll says that 67 per cent of registered voters view Christie favorably, a jump of 19 points since October. Ninety percent of New Jersey voters according to the poll said Christie handled the crisis either “very well” or “somewhat well.” A majority of 81 percent said they thought Christie was right to work closely and publicly with President Obama, in spite of criticism from some in the Republican party.
