Governor Phil Murphy wants the State to move to a $15 an hour minimum wage before the year 2024. Murphy spoke to reporters over the weekend and reiterated that he wants the wage in effect in just over two years. A measure introduced in Trenton last week would hike the wage to $15 an hour..but it would take five years to do so.
