Governor Chris Christie is scheduled to visit Cape May on Wednesday, as he tours the state to check on recovery efforts from Hurricane Sandy. The Cape May Gazette reports that Christie will hold a press conference at 11:30 a.m. on the 300 block of the Washington Street Mall, followed by a tour of the area. The city will provide about 100 chairs for the press and the public and temporary street closings may be in effect.
