On Tuesday a Qunnipiac University poll listed Governor Chris Christie’s approval rating at 72 percent, reflecting his strong leadership in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. On Thursday the new Rutgers-Eagleton poll was released and says that 67 percent of voters now have a favorable impression of Governor Christie, one of the highest approval ratings ever recorded for a New Jersey governor. According to this latest poll, 52 percent of Democrats surveyed said he is a strong leader.
