The approval rating for Gov. Christie has never been lower, acceding to the latest Fairleigh Dickinson University survey published on Wednesday. The poll found that only 21 percent of registered New Jersey voters approve of the job Christie is doing, while 62 percent disapprove. The poll also asked about the Bridgegate trial of two former allies of Christie, who face federal charges for creating a bogus traffic study. Of those surveyed, 7 in 10 residents say they are following the trial and 52 percent believe that there is sufficient proof that the governor knew about the closures.
