A visit by the governor has been long-standing tradition at the New Jersey State Firemen’s Convention in Wildwood. Christie will not be attending this year’s convention, but will send Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno to address the 7,000 delegates on Friday. Christie has not spoken at the firemen’s convention since 2012.
