GOP SAY VAN DREW “EXPLOIT” VETERAN RUNNING MATES “FOR POLITICAL GAIN”

The first shots have been fired in the 1st District race. The Republican team of Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi and Cumberland County Freeholder Jim Sauro issued a press release on Wednesday that quoted a veteran that said “Jeff Van Drew handpicks people like Bob (Andrejczak) and Bruce (Land) because they have very compelling personal stories that he can exploit for political gain.” Assemblyman Andrejczak and Land are running as Democrats and Andrejczak ran on the same ticket as Senator Van Drew during an election two years ago. Fiocchi and Sauro in their press release suggest that neither Andrejczak or Land are prepared to address issues like jobs and the economy and tried to position themselves as better with the economy.
