One of the most popular sports figures in Philadelphia history is gone at the age of 58. Darryl Dawkins, a star center for the Philadelphia 76ers, passed away Thursday morning. He passed away at a Lehigh County, Pennsylvania hospital; no cause of death has been released. Dawkins was picked as the fifth overall selection in the 1975 NBA Draft.
