If you pay Atlantic City Electric for the power that you use, good news..your bill is going down. The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities announced Wednesday that electric bills for most New Jersey residents will be going down slightly, including Atlantic City Electric customers. The tenth annual electricity auction has been completed, and it translates into an average of a 4.4 percent reduction in the overall bill paid by Atlantic City Electric customers. This is the second highest decrease reported among four major utilities in the state. The new rates are expected to go into effect on June 1, 2011.
