Madie Gibson of Lower Cape May Regional H.S. made her choice official on Monday. Gibson signed a National Letter of Intent to accept a scholarship offer to play soccer at Division I Monmouth University. The all-time leading scorer in Cape May County soccer history verbally committing to the Monmouth after the 2013 soccer season. Gibson scored 126 career goals to go along with 27 assists. She set a single-season school record with 41 goals as a senior and was named a first team All-South Jersey selection last fall.
