Garrett Kerr’s outstanding season for the Middle Township High School boys basketball team has been recognized statewide.
Kerr, a senior guard/forward for the Panthers, has been selected to participate in the prestigious North-South state boys basketball all-star game, Middle athletic director Scott Lodgek has announced. The contest is scheduled for Sunday, March 20 at the Poland Strong Arena on the campus of Toms River North High School.
Kerr, who transferred from Moorestown prior to this scholastic year, is averaging 22.5 points and approximately 11 rebounds per game for the Panthers, who won their eighth straight game and improved to 20-2 with Wednesday night’s win over St. Joseph.
Kerr is the son of former Philadelphia Flyers star Tim Kerr.
