GAY MARRIAGE VOTE COMING NEXT WEEK IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY

A gay marriage bill might be in front of Gov. Chris Christie next week. The Senate and Assembly are set up for separate votes on Monday and Thursday of next week respectively. Leaders in both houses say they have enough votes to pass the measure. Christie has promised that he will veto the legislation and has called for a ballot question on the issue. Locally, Senator Jeff Van Drew has said he will vote against the bill.
