Almost 70 percent of the state supported the move to legalize gay marriage. A new poll by Monmouth University says that there has been a huge shift in the past couple of years and the data comes after the Supreme Court ruled to make same-sex marriages legal in every state. In 2007, the state’s support for gay marriage was only at 48 percent.
