It’s been more than two years since gasoline prices were this high in the state of New Jersey. According to a new gasoline price survey by Mid-Atlantic AAA, gas prices have soared to levels that we haven’t seen for 30 months. The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Cape May County was $3.54 over the weekend which represents an 11 cent increase in just one week. We are still 20 cents below the national average, but only two cents below the state average. The big reason? Crude oil prices close at nearly $113 dollars per gallon just before the weekend.
