Another two cents was added to the average price for a gallon of gas this past week. AAA Mid-Atlantic released their latest price survey, which says Cape May County residents currently have a $2.74 average at the pump. This is significantly higher than one year ago, when prices were clocked in at $1.92. New Jersey continues to beat the national average. The state average of $2.76 is 12 cents better than the national average.
