The good news continued for motorists this past week with average gas prices dropping by six cents in Cape May County. Prices remains 89 cents higher than one year ago. Crude oil prices dropped nearly $3 per barrel in the past week, which was seen as the main factor in the price decrease. A number of issues could effect gas prices positively or negatively, including the situation in Libya, and a potential global recession.
