Oil prices have been fluctuating, but gas prices remained mostly flat. The new AAA-Mid Atlantic gas survey said that the average price in Cape May County dropped one cent in the past week. The new average is $3.36. Just one year ago, the average was $2.63. Locally, the county remains much better than the national average. The national average is $3.56.
