A high pressured gas line was struck by construction crews in Cape May Monday morning, and that led to the evacuation of dozens of residents in the neighborhood. Officials say the incident occurred Monday shortly before 9am at Hughes Street and Ocean Avenue. It was one of two gas line incidents in the Victorian resort on Monday. Other local fire companies were called to assist, there were no injuries.
