A Galloway woman plead guilty to child endangerment charges while admitting she struck a 9 year old girl with a metal spatula and also starved the girl to the point where she needed to be treated for malnutrition. 58-year old Stephanie Gregory entered her plea Tuesday according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Gregory could receive a five year state prison sentence for the two counts of child endangerment. Gregory was charged three years ago after authorities with the Department of Protection and Permanency removed the child from her care. According to their report, the girl had welts and open wounds and could barely walk. Gregory will face sentencing on August 21st.
