An accident took place on Thursday afternoon that damaged utility lines in Galloway Township. An accident involving four motor vehicles occurred at the intersection of Tilton Rd. and Racetrack Rd. One of the vehicles struck a utility pole causing power, cable and phone lines to snap. The utility lines were downed across the roadway, causing the intersection to be shut down until the utility companies could make repairs and restore service. There were no major injuries reported.
